A second daily flight from Athens to Dubai was added by Emirates, further increasing passenger seats as well as cargo capacity. Responding to passenger needs for more frequent journeys and more capacity, Emirates launched its second daily flight to Dubai on May 1, 2017. The new flight, with number EC 103, departs from Dubai at 16:20 and arrives at Athens International Airport at 20:25. The return flight with number EC 104 departs from Athens at 23:20 and lands in Dubai at the dawn of the next day at 04:55.
Emirates started operations in Greece in 1996, with three flights per week. Since then, the number of flights and the size of aircraft serving the Greek market have been steadily rising to meet the needs of travelers from Greece. The new flight is expected to give professionals and tourists traveling from Athens even more opportunities to connect to destinations in the Middle and Far East, Australasia and Africa.
