Athens is at the top 5 greatest cities for a winter break, as announced by the online version of the British newspaper, Telegraph. More specifically, Telegraph’s editors chose the 16 best cities for winter holidays and put Athens in the 4th place.
As the article says, “Athens is a year-round city where you can always find a lively bar on the hip nightlife streets of Kolokotroni – or a fine restaurant on Miaouli in food-centric area Psirri.” Telegraph also suggests the five-star King George, a former royal residence located just off Syntagma Square.
