After Monaco, Paris and Oslo it’s time for Athens to host No Finish Line and join the international circuit of pioneer races with a social character dedicated to children.
The first Greek No Finish Line will take place in Athens from April 26 to April 30 at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Centre.
Ermis 1877 is organising the event with the NFL’s International supervision and the support of famous and anonymous donors and sponsors.
NFL is a unique concept of a race raising awareness and giving for 90 consecutive hours during which everyone, no matter their age can walk or run without any time or distance limit.
The idea behind NFL is that kilometres are converted to money, supporting the “Together for Children” Association. NFL’s Athens proceeds will go to the Association’s Food Relief program, which feeds families with underage children in need.
Everyone can walk or run anytime during the day or the night, as many times as they want, whichever way and pace they choose to, for however long they want collecting kilometres inside the specially designed circular 1000m route around the Canal of the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Centre.
The event starts on Wednesday, April 26 at 19:00 and ends after 90 hours on Sunday, April 30 at 13:00. Anyone from 1 to 101 years old can join the race!
The first Greek NFL has set a goal: to reach 60,000 km, which will be converted to euros and donated to “Together for Children” to support the Food Relief program.
During the race, which lasts for 90 consecutive hours, the presence of volunteers who encourage, support and cater for the participants is constant. There are also services such as lockers, changing rooms, resting rooms and rehabilitation will also be available.
