Sifnos is filled with the flavours and aromas of the Cycladic islands and welcomes the 10th Festival of Cycladic Gastronomy, on the 8th, 9th and 10th of September.
Named after the famous cook of the island, Nikolaos Tselementes, the festival promotes the Cycladic gastronomy in Greece and abroad. For the festival purposes, the islands of Cyclades meet up in Sifnos to present their special gastronomic and cultural tradition.
In the central square of the village of Artemonas, amateur and professional chefs cook the recipes of their island, while children participate in cooking games and contests.
On September 8th, the Association of Vathi, Sifnos, invites you to taste local delicacies, while on Friday, at 18:00, do not miss the representation of the local wedding, at Exampela, the village of Tselementes.
