Α new must-see destination was born in Athens and has already won the hearts of locals and visitors.
Located a few minutes away from the city center, the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) aspires to become a high standard, urban, multifunctional complex for education, arts and entertainment. Designed by the Renzo Piano Building Workshop (RBWP), the project consists of the construction and complete outfitting of the new facilities of the National Library of Greece (NLG) and the Greek National Opera (GNO), as well as the creation of the 210,000m2 Stavros Niarchos Park.
This October, the Culture Center Stavros Niarchos Foundation gives us many reasons for a visit, with the organization of a variety of sports, educational and cultural activities.
In particular, the SNFCC organizes many activities for children, such as sailing, sea kayaking, yoga, as well as a concert.
Meanwhile, adults can enjoy yoga, mat pilates, aerobics and Rowathlon, while they can also participate in sailing, attend a first aid course, and enjoy bike rides. At the same time, the melodies of jazz concerts will travel you through the magic of their sounds. Last but not least, the movie screenings Park Your Cinema, launch a new thematic film tribute series, named “The Library Edition”.

Summer opening hours of the SNFCC, which will be effective until 31st October, will be from 06.00 a.m. to midnight. Winter opening hours will be from 06.00 a.m. to 08.00 p.m.
